Local artist Steve Brown and Phil Barton today installed the banner made by over sixty participants on The Day of Action to Remember Nature on 4th November 2023.
The artwork is both a reminder of the breakdown in the relationship between humanity and the natural world and a symbol of hope that it is a relationship that can be repaired – and quickly! It is also a tribute to the late Gustav Metzger who issued this call for all artists to remember nature in 2015:
